Művészettel ünnepeljük a találkozást!
5. alkalommal rendezték meg a Gallery Weekend Santiago, kortárs képzőművészeti eseményt 2021. szeptember 29. és október 03. között. A hibrid formában megvalósított esemény offline tevékenységeket és digitális/online tartalmakat vegyesen tartalmazó erőteljes programmal várta a látogatókat, úgy mint kiállításmegnyitók, tárlatvezetések, beszélgetések, dokumentumfilmek és az első chilei NFT művészeti gyűjtemény bemutatásával.
"Az intenzív társadalmi kirobbanás, majd az egészségügyi válság után az idei koncepciók a kortárs művészet azon képességéhez kapcsolódnak, hogy előre jelezze vagy megelőzze azokat a transzverzális konfliktusokat, amelyekkel társadalmunknak szembe kell néznie. A felhívás az, hogy a művészi alkotáson keresztül gondolkodjunk és értsük meg a helyünket a világban" – emelte ki Juan Pablo Vergara, a Gallery Weekend Santiago társigazgatója.

"A GWS programok megnyitják az ajtókat Santiago városának hatalmas közönsége előtt, és lehetővé teszik számunkra, hogy más országokkal is kapcsolatot teremtsünk. A Gallery Weekend a helyi és a nemzetközi szcéna közötti hídként jelenik meg. Mint ingyenes programsorozat közvetlenebbül hoz közelebb a művészethez" - mondta Víctor Leyton, a Gallery Weekend Santiago igazgatója.
We celebrate the meeting with art!
The fifth time, Gallery Weekend Santiago, a contemporary art event, took place from 29 September to 03 October 2021. The event in a hybrid format offered a strong program of offline activities and digital/online content.
This year's program included exhibition openings, guided tours, talks, documentaries and the first Chilean launch of the NFT's art collection.
"After the intense social outburst and then the health crisis, this year's concepts relate to the ability of contemporary art to anticipate or prevent the transversal conflicts that our society is facing. The call is to think and understand our place in the world through artistic creation," declared Juan Pablo Vergara, co-director of Gallery Weekend Santiago.

"GW events open the doors to the huge audience in Santiago and allow us to connect with other countries. Gallery Weekend acts as a bridge between the local and international scene.
