Lisabon Art Weekend 2021

2021. november 12. és 14. között harmadik alkalommal rendezték meg a Lisabon Art Weekendet. Az esemény keretében 32 résztvevő helyszín nyitotta meg kapuit, hogy kiállításokon, tárlatvezetéseken, előadásokon és egyéb programokon keresztül ünnepelje a kortárs művészetet.
Lisszabon egyre növekvő kortárs művészeti színterének összefogására és egy hétvégébe sűrítésére egy nonprofit szervezet vállalkozott. Az évente jelentkező programsorozatot Merve Pakyürek és Marc Kean Paker hívta életre 2019-ben azzal a céllal, hogy egyrészt népszerűsítsék a művészetet a helyi közönség körében, másrészt, hogy lehetőséget kínáljanak a külföldi látogatóknak a lisszaboni művészeti szcéna felfedezésére. A kezdeményezés nem titkolt célkitűzése továbbá, hogy diskurzusok létrejöttét támogassa a művészeti szcénán belül, programjai által.
A résztvevő helyszínek között nemcsak múzeumok és galériák szerepeltek, de a kezdeményezéshez magángyűjtemények és művészek által működtetett terek is csatlakoztak. Az idei rendezvény keretében 127 portugál és nemzetközi művész munkáit ismerhették meg az érdeklődők. A programok kínálata ebben az évben is színes volt: megannyi tárlatvezetés mellett beszélgetésekre és bemutatókra is sor került. A háromnapos rendezvény alatt olyan művészekkel találkozhatott a nagyközönség, mint Rui Chafes, Wasted Rita, Sam Smith, Hans Otte vagy Julian Rosefeldt.

A Lisbon Art Weekend minden programja ingyenesen volt látogatható, és a Fundación ARCO, az Art Across Europe, a Turismo de Lisboa, a Câmara Municipal de Lisboa és a Heden támogatásával valósult meg.

LISBON ART WEEKEND 2021
From 12 to 14 November 2021, the Lisbon Art Weekend was held for the third time. As part of the event, 32 participating venues opened their doors to celebrate contemporary art through exhibitions, guided tours, performances and other programs.
A non-profit organization undertook to bring together Lisbon’s growing contemporary art scene for a weekend. The annual series of programs was launched by Merve Pakyürek and Marc Kean Paker in 2019 with the aim of promoting art to local audiences on the one hand, and to offer foreign visitors the opportunity to explore the Lisbon art scene on the other. Furthermore, the undisguised objective of the initiative is to support discourses within the arts scene through its programs.
Participating venues include not only museums and galleries, but also spaces run by private collections and artists. This year's event featured works by 127 Portuguese and international artists. The scope of the programs was colorful this year as well: in addition to many guided tours, there were also talks and openings. During the three-day event, the general public could meet artists such as Rui Chafes, Wasted Rita, Sam Smith, Hans Otte and Julian Rosefeldt.
